What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file the site stores on your device. It can keep a cart, keep you signed in, or remember a choice. Pixels and local storage can do similar work. This page calls all of them cookies.
Read it with the Privacy Policy.
The kinds we use
- Required. The cart, sign-in, and the record of these choices. The shop does not run without them, so they stay on.
- Analytics. Google Analytics, so we can see which pages and products people look at and improve the shop. Off until you allow them outside the United States. On in the United States until you turn them off.
- Advertising. Set by advertising partners so ads elsewhere can relate to how you browse here. Same choice as analytics, except a Global Privacy Control signal turns advertising off in the United States.
Cookies this site sets
- cartId. Keeps your cart between visits. Kept for 30 days.
- rw_customer. Keeps you signed in to your account. Kept for session.
- rw_oauth. Protects the sign-in handshake. Kept for minutes.
- rw_consent. Remembers these cookie choices. Kept for 1 year.
Checkout runs on Shopify. Shopify may set its own cookies there to take payment and place the order. When analytics is allowed, Google Analytics sets its own cookies, such as _ga, to tell return visits apart. Those last up to two years, or until you turn analytics off. Advertising cookies are set only when that category is allowed, and the specific names can change as partners change.
How to change them
Open at any time. You can also block cookies in your browser. Blocking the required ones will break the cart and sign-in. Deleting them can sign you out and empty the cart on this site.
Turning advertising off does not stop every ad. It stops ads based on your activity here. More on that is on Your Privacy Choices.
How long they last
Some cookies end when you close the browser. Others stay for the time listed above, or until you delete them. Analytics and advertising cookies last only while you allow that category.
